Haroun Serang, Dennis Chambers, Victor Little, Paul, Eric Levy

From left to right: Haroun, Skyler (an intern), Dennis, Vic, me and Eric Levy.  Playing with Dennis was a dream for all of us-we had a great time that day. Dennis Chamber's site is at http://www.dennischambers.com/ -truly amazing he was for all of us to play with. Eric Levy's site is ericlevy.net/ -he's part of a great band called Garaj Mahal. He played both on the sessions with Dennis and with the 'jazz' sessions with drummer Paul Van Wageningen and trumpeter
Mike Olmos. Eric's a serious, musical player-his playing on this record is really special. Victor Little-I couldn't have done this record without his rock solid and inventive playing that kept 'the moop meat' real. He's a great collaborator in music for me and an integral part of this album as well as other projects we've got together.

Haroun-man, I can't even begin to describe how hard working and dedicated to this project he is. He's one of my biggest influences for this album. When we did the 2nd Zenith Patrol record (www.zenithpatrol.com)-his influence in sound design as well as fresh ideas about what instrumental music can be really influenced me. What patience to put up with me and my crazy ideas and recording them so well-he's done it and been the reason this album is coming out at all.

We started recording this album back in 2004 at Haroun's studio in San Jose. A room with a 40-foot ceiling. And a lot of
"?" as to where this was going to lead.
